GUS Principals become brand ambassadors

Chris Jeans and Nick Mott take up roles with Courtois and Wilson

The Gus Band are proud to announce that two of the bands principal players have taken on ambassador roles with two of the worlds leading brass instrument manufactures.

Principal trombone player Ld Chris Jeans has been appointed Ambassador for Antoine Courtois and the Buffet Crampon Group Worldwide while Nick Mott, the bands' Flugel player has become an artist for Wilson instruments.

Chris is a long standing and highly regarded member of the GUS band, a regular prize winner most recently picking up the best soloist prize at The Mineworkers contest in January and for the 2nd year in a row receiving the Maxwell Thornton 'Best Trombone' award at the Masters contest.

Nick Mott has family roots to the GUS band with his grandfather being a previous principal cornet of the band. Nick has performed with great distinction at the bands recent contest performances and it comes at no surprise that Nick has been chosen to become a Wilson artist

The Gus band are very proud to now have three brand ambassadors in the band with Chris and Nick joining Principal cornet and Geneva artist Thomas Fountain.
