The GUS Band are celebrating their 90th anniversary in 2023 and are celebrating with a spectacular concert featuring:
- The GUS Band, Midlands Champions
- The GUS Reunion Band made up of more than 50 talented ex-members
- Massed Bands featuring current and reunion bands
- James Fountain, Principal Trumpet, London Symphony Orchestra
- Jordan Ashman, BBC Young Musician of the Year 2022 (Percussionist)
- Dr David Thornton, Euphonium Soloist, Royal Northern College of Music
- Thomas Fountain, Principal Trumpet, BBC Philharmonic
